The journal is going to be an extremely important resource for you and anyone with whom you choose to share it. Why? Because you will be posting your thoughts, problems, and successes each day as well as discussing any talking points that I assign during class. Thus, you should be able to go back through your journal and see how you have progressed as well as review the lessons you have learned if you have gotten a bit rusty on them at some point later in the class. It will also be read by the instructor and TA to check on your progress. The Journal should either be incorporated into the main (index) page of your website or be on a seperate, linked page.
Guidelines
- Nothing offensive (as judged by the instructor) or illegal is to be posted on your site or journal at any time.
- There will be daily, marked journal entries and each must be of sufficient length to cover everything you have done in a particular day. Discuss everything you have learned, struggled with, and accomplished as well as anything else you found interesting or difficult in class.
- Journal prompts given in class can either be discussed in addition to and with your daily journal entry or they can be kept on individual pages.
